Abstract submission

Important information

  • The deadline for abstract submission is 17th August 2018.
  • Submission of an abstract does not constitute registration for the Meeting. All authors must register for the Meeting and as the number of places is limited and may potentially be filled before registration closes, authors are advised to register early.
  • Abstracts will be assessed by the Abstract Review Committee. Their decision will be notified to the main author by email on or around the 21st September 2018.


We invite abstracts for poster presentation from delegates. Abstracts can relate to planned, ongoing or completed work. Topics of interest include but are not limited to:

1. COS across the health care ecosystem – examples include:

a. Relevance to early phase trials
b. Moving from COS for trials to routine care (audits, quality of care etc.)
c. Relevance to clinical guidelines
d. Core information sets
e. Relevance to policy makers

2. How to decide on the scope of a COS

a. for example the issue of ‘lumping or splitting’ medical areas covered by COS

3. COS uptake and implementation

4. How to measure outcomes in a COS

5. Patients & the public: involvement and participation
